Boasting over 100 scheduled shows, there’s music for all tastes and from across the American roots spectrum. Below we’ll collect a handful we’re especially excited to catch on the ship. As you can tell from this video shot from the audience on Cayamo 2019, you never know who is going to get up on stage with whom – we’re excited to see what special collaborations Miller puts on with other artists and pickers on the lineup. Cayamo took place Feb. 10-17, 2023 aboard the Norwegian Cruise Line ship Pearl as she sailed out of Miami bound for Tortola in the British Virgin Islands as well as St. Maarten. Each act played three or more shows and it all began with Nitty Gritty Dirt Band playing a memorable "sail away" show as the Pearl pulled out of Miami.
Once again, Cayamo will offer engaging programming harnessed to artist interactions and collaborations, creating once-in-a-lifetime opportunities comprised of multi-artist jams, team-ups, and unannounced sit-ins that touch on the core of the live music experience. Cayamo organizers Sixthman announced the lineup for the 2022 cruise. The 14th installment of Cayamo will feature Punch Brothers, Emmylou Harris, Grace Potter, Dawes and more performing aboard the Norweigan Pearl March 18 – 25, 2022. This listening room will be programmed all day long on sea days for prime musical enjoyment.

Shows from other acts on their maiden Cayamo voyage were stand-outs too. The entire festival was a blessing and it was only appropriate that the a capella gospel group The Fairfield Four took the crowd to church. Shouts of "amen!" issued from the crowd and the stage as fans enjoyed the group's joyous harmonies, and when bass singer Joe Thompson was spotlighted you could almost feel your bones rattle as his deep tones seemed to rumble straight out of the heavens. Presented by music cruise experts Sixthman and taking place aboard the Norwegian Cruise Line ship Pearl Feb. 10-17, 2023, Cayamo had a stellar line-up that included Neko Case, Adia Victoria, Jeff Tweedy, Allison Russell, Trampled by Turtles, Patty Griffin, Andrew Bird, Tommy Emmanuel and many others. A little more than half of the NGDB show took place while the Pearl was stilled moored in departure port Miami, and whether it was intentional or a coincidence, the guys began their 13-song set with "You Ain't Going Nowhere." The seven-day journey through song departs and returns to Miami with port stops in St. Thomas and St. Kitts.
